| The following is pretty much common sense. If a person is cruel, dishonest or highly irritating (spammers, drama kings & queens)) or creepy (those looking for cyber-sex)......that person won't be here very long.
1. When a membership application is accepted, a "Welcome" message is posted on the General Board. If a new member does not respond to this, membership will be terminated, after a period of time determined by the managers.
2. Members are expected to post.....this is not a virtual library. Participation can be posts that are informative, comments, questions, saying "Hi" to a new member etc. A member need only make 1 post per month to remain a member in good standing.
NOTE: If a member is going through a difficult time, (work, family, illness, etc.) notify a Manager privately or on the boards that you will be "off the air." We don't need to know any personal info, but we don't want to cancel a member who shouldn't be canceled.
3. Spammers will be banned. No ifs, no ands, no buts.
4. No trolling! Get out there in the real world, hit the bars, join a dating service, have friends fix you up.....I don't care what you do, but you ain't doing it here. You will absolutely be banned if we get just one complaint.
5. Plagiarism won't be tolerated. If you didn't write it, don't pretend you did.
6. The Crystal Dawn's posts & information may not be used at another site/community without the permission of the person who made the post. We have zero tolerance for theft & that person will be banned.
7. If permission is granted for a particular post to be posted elsewhere, the member must credit the original author of the post, and state it came from the Dawn. You may not put your name to this info as if it were your own.
8. Differences of opinion at the Dawn & debate are acceptable, expected & healthy. Cruelty & unkindness are not. Members who are hurtful & cruel just for the sake of doing so, will be banned.
Our Promise To The Membership As the managers of The Crystal Dawn, we offer the following to our members:
1. To make this community as safe as we possibly can. Members who lie, steal, spam or are deliberately hurtful, will not be allowed to remain here.
2. We have an "open-door" policy at The Dawn. A member can always privately e-mail either myself or Flowering Dawn with a problem, whether the problem is at the Dawn or in his/her life. Sometimes it helps just to vent. Our members are caring people, so don't feel awkward about posting a problem, if you should wish to do so. In fact, a manager might e-mail a member privately, if she feels someone may need a kind word.....not to be nosy.....it's just the right thing to do at times.
3. We promise to try to answer all your questions in a timely manner. If we don't know the answer, we'll try to find it, to the best of our ability.  | |
