The Greek god Triton rules over all mer-people. Triton is the child of Amphitrite & Poseidon.
Triton is known as the messenger of the oceans & was depicted as having the upper body of a man with a fish tail.
Triton's symbols are the trident & the conch shell. He was the father of Pallas & foster father to the goddess Athena. At times, He was mentioned as being the father of Scylla.
